Quick Write: Pregnant Men in Okada's "Future Plan #2" and Coltrane's "Fathering: Paradoxes, Contradicitons, and Dilemmas"

The photographs reflexes on the paradox that talks about how women now are the ones who bring home the income and support the family and dads stay home and take care of the children. In the reading it says "Even some proparenting of nurturing fathers warn men against trying to act too much like mothers"(443). The image reflexs with the paradox because the quote is saying how fathers who take care of their children warn other men to not act too much like mothers.Otherwises like in the picture shows, those men who act too much like mothers they would be seen as the ones who gave birth to those children. Men who nurture their kids are telling other men to be a good father but not be too nurturing because you would be seen as the mother.
